The Centro Mexicano de Musicoterapia (CMM) wants its public site to be an example of web accessibility. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 (opens in a new tab) at level AA, and we follow the semantic HTML practices recommended by the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) (opens in a new tab).
How we verify the site
- Automated review with axe-core and Lighthouse on every public page, in mobile and desktop views, as part of our change tests.
- Full keyboard walkthroughs: navigation, menu, forms, accordions and the Lumi chat.
prefers-reduced-motionsupport: animations turn off when your system requests it.- Color contrast checked across text components, and a visible focus ring on every control, including Windows high-contrast mode.
- Reflow testing at 200% text size on narrow screens.
Known limitations
- Videos hosted on YouTube depend on that platform’s player; captions are enabled from the player itself and their quality is not always under our control.
- The public chat runs on an AI assistant (Lumi) that can make mistakes and does not replace clinical care.
- The private administration panel is improved separately from these public pages.
How to report a barrier
If you find something hard to use, write to us through the contact form or at centromexicanodemusicoterapia@gmail.com, describing the page, your device and what you need to do. We read every report and prioritize the fixes that block access to information.
